At present school has classes from Nursery to 12th and affiliated to J&K Board of School Education. A management committee runs it. The school is situated in heart of town having easy Access from all the sides of town.
Goals & Objectives
At Shaheen Public Higher Secondary School we aim at imparting the children refined and quality education. The stress is laid on the following elements.
The medium of instruction is English with Urdu and Hindi as second language and optional as vice versa. The syllabus of board shall be binding on the school to all classes for which Board publishes books. Besides academics the school is imparting religions education for Hindu/Muslims students up to 8* class. Special emphasis is being laid on computer education, syllabus for various examination and copy of same will be distributed among students at the start of the session.”
To impart qualities of personality and all round development the classes from IV to X have been divided into houses and each house is under the administrative charge of House / Master among the staff and house captain among the students.

School Routines
- Morning Assembly - The morning assembly shall be held in the open ground clear days and in school passage during rains. The activities carried shall be monitored by Physical teacher assisted by housemasters and house Captains.
- Parents/Guardians Checklist - Check Home Work copies. Also discuss with child problem if any and intimate the same to the Principal in person or writing clean.
- Send your child neat and in full uniform and students in unhygienic conditions shall not be allowed to attend classes. Ailing students may not come to school but information in this regard be give to the school well in time.
- In case of any emergency parents will personally come to collect their wards and no other person shall come to school especially girls students.
- The children remaining absent for one week continuously shall be struck off and if they remain absent during examination, shall not be examined separately in any case.
- The school shall enjoy at least one outing in a session and the expenses shall be born by Parents no students shall be allowed for pic - nick with out prior permission from his / her father / Guardian in writing.
- Fine may be imposed on students for coming late or for being absent without application. A fine of Rs. 1 per day for absence shall be realised. No student will be allowed to leave school premises during schooling hours.
- Parents shall not for any reason go to the class room of approach any teacher directly but instead should contact principal only. Any damage to school property will have to be made good either individually or collectively.
- All the parents will deposit the fee dues of all kinds before 20th of every month. If the tuition fee is not deposited for two months consecutively a fine of Rs. 10/- per month shall be charged and no claim shall be entertained.
- No valuables i.e Jewelry cash and electronic items use to be brought to school. Children shall only bring fruits and lunch packs to school and no confectionary item is allowed. Further suggestion shall be highly honoured. Please cooperate the school for brilliant future of your child.
- All answer scripts for unit tests will be shown to students without charging any fee. Fee evaluation at @ Rs. 10 per paper shall be charged for Terminal Examinations.
